Our Little Guy

There's been a lot of posts about "Princess Reagan" but I think Corbin needs his spotlight too. It is really hard to believe that Corbin is already 9 months old! He's doing just great and is right on track with his milestones. Ever since he got his ear tubes put in, he's a whole different kid. He's always been very laid back and mellow. He is still laid back but now he has energy! We laugh because we say now he has the energy to put up a fight at nap time or when we tell him no. He's babbling SO much more now which gives me a huge relief. He goes back on the 1st of July for a follow up and a hearing test. I'm not concerned about his hearing now. In fact, he's been cracking us up with his curious and confused looks at every day things. It really shows up what he wasn't hearing or how different things must have sounded with all of the constant fluid in his ears. He's a very happy baby!

He LOVES to splash in the water and can play at the water table for hours. He already knows his role as little brother by getting into everything his sister is doing. For the most part, she's very patient but he really does think he has to be wherever she is and messing with all of her stuff. He still has no teeth but that doesn't stop him from eating whatever he wants. His favorites are blueberries and apparently dog food as well. The other day I heard him with the toilet paper so I ran to grab the camera to catch him in the act and instead found him playing with his ball in the toilet. No pictures were taken because I was too grossed out. Then he was furious because I put his ball in the dishwasher. He just sat in front of it and banged on the door trying to get to it. He's walking along furniture and with push toys. Luke and I swear we've seen him attempt a step or two but he falls so fast we're not sure if he did or not. Either way, he's trying to stand on his own. I'm not sure I'm ready for that quite yet. One thing is for sure: Luke got his mini-me. :)
