Life Lately

It has been so nice to be off work. Usually I'm going crazy by this point in the summer but we are really enjoying the relaxed schedule. Here are a few snapshots of what's been going on around our house.

Corbin is growing sooo fast! He's a climber and enjoys climbing on top of Hawkeye and using him as a stepstool to get to what he wants. I was able to get him to sit still for a micro second to get a quick picture. He's waving now, which is really cute! Yep, still looks just like his Daddy!

In the middle of the day last week, we got a very nice little hailstorm. It was pretty intense and lasted a lot longer than I expected it to! I took a few pictures. It was really coming down and was very, very loud.

The stones started out as peas, then cherries and by the time I could text it all to Luke fast enough they were golf ball sized. A lot of my neighbors got much better pictures!

Last week, Reagan went on her very first field trip. I always lay her clothes out on school nights and she was so excited that she came into our room at 6:30 fully dressed (socks and shoes and all!) announcing she was ready to go on her field trip day. Her class walked over to Culvers for ice cream. It is important to point out that Culvers is right next door to her school with only a fence between them. But, the kids were so hyped up that morning because they got to leave school, wear their summer camp shirts and I had to sign a permission slip and everything. She loved it!

After I took her picture, she wanted one with her brother. They really do love each other. She could learn to love him a little more gently....
