Our World: A Wonderful Wednesday

Yesterday was a fantastic day! Luke went into work late so I could go to the DMV and renew my license without Reagan in tow. I met up with some of great friends who were in town and we went to the zoo, then I met Luke in the city for our annual "Wine Wednesday" night with our friends.

The zoo was a great time. Reagan just loves the zoo and likes to pick an animal to go see and is so excited that they are really there for her to see. She was such a good girl while we were there that I let her ride the carousel twice. However, there was one little mishap. At the children's area of the zoo, there are a lot of different areas to go and Reagan pretty much watches what everyone else is doing and follows along. Well, Reagan saw a woman holding onto a sick. So she went over and held onto the stick as well and looked at the woman to see what else to do. It was definetly a blind woman and the stick was her cane. I was beyond mortified!! Luckily Reagan was just waiting to see what to do next and didn't move the cane or anything but oh my goodness!! It was certainly one of those moments that you remember the innocence of a two year old and even better the woman thought it was adorable and funny. Whew!

Of course Stella had to sit on the frog too. Reagan pointed out a lot of the animals to Stella and making sure she saw right where they were in their homes.

Wine Wednesday was a Water Wednesday for me this year but we still had a fantastic time! For those of you who don't know, The Missouri Botanical Gardens host free jazz nights each Wednesday during the summer. We always pack a great picnic dinner and several bottles of wine and set up shop for the night. We had a gorgeous night and wonderful company.
