Reagan is doing great this summer- despite the typical 3 year old attitude. She really keeps us on our toes! She's riding her big girl bike all over the neighborhood, and learning something new everyday. Here she is in Daddy's hat posing for the camera.
She even took this picture of Corbin. He's also doing great. We took him for his follow up appointment for his tubes and they were really happy with how they look. They did a hearing test on him and we'll go back in 6 months for another. They didn't get super reliant results. Not that they were very concerned but trying to get a 10 month to sit still and respond isn't very easy so we'll go back to make sure that it was just his short attention span and not a hearing problem. We also found out that his uvula (the hangy thingy at the back of your throat) is shaped differently and they've noticed that when it's shaped the way that his is, you're at risk for ear and speech problems. She made sure to emphasize that it doesn't mean he will, just that he's at a higher risk and we wouldn't even know it until he's older anyhow. Meanwhile, I'd like to get him into speech therapy today.... ;) Other than that, he's taking a couple steps at a time but fell pretty hard so he's nervous to keep trying. The bottles are all packed away and he's only using sippy cups now and only has his pacifier at night. Lots accomplished in a week! I'm halfway through my goals for the summer for him! By the rest of the summer, I want him down to one nap a day and no pacifier at all. Wish me luck!
