We've continued to have some laid back lazy weekends which is so amazing for us and very much needed. Here is what we've been up to lately:
The cold, dreary, snowy weather is getting to all of us! We arranged a play date with Reagan's best friend Mia at our paint your own pottery place. The girls had a great time seeing each other outside of school and are already making plans for more.
Here is my little bookworm at the library. She was waiting patiently for me to pick up my books and reading her latest picks: Oliva and Strawberry Shortcake of course!
Apparently a very nasty winter storm is headed our way. Snow is not a big deal for us but the ice is worrisome in the event we could lose power. The news is comparing it to a storm we had a few years ago where people in town were out of power for days at a time. If that is the case,
Hello Grandma and Grandpa! ;) But in preparation for the ice we organized the garage enough to fit the tank. This really is quite the feat because it barely fits.
And I mean barely! As long we keep power, we're set for a long snowed in week.
So we've spent lots of time cuddling and reading.
And cuddling some more. :)
Then, both kids curled up on their own under the quilt. Should've been a warning....
So the biggest storm of the past few years is about to hit and I'm pushing popsicles down my kids' throats because they're both sick. Luke and I realized that this is the first time they've both been sick at the same time. Usually one gets it and then a few days later the other but this time they've both been down for the count this weekend. It's just been sinus/cold stuff but Corbin has been lucky to have a fever with his, hence the popsicle for him and for Reagan's scratchy sore throat. I have no doubt they'll be back to normal in no time. In the meantime there's plenty of snuggle time.

I love that Reagan is wearing a tutu despite being sick... Never to sick for fashion!!
