Well Snowpocalypse hit Bloomington/Normal hard. However, our weather guy was wrong for us. We prepped and planned and then were let down. We did however get a day full of sleet and ice. Still though, the roads weren't pleasant but not absolutely horrible.
Regardless we had 2 more snow days due to the storm.
They woke up early on the first snow day and got in our bed to watch T.V. so we got kicked out.

Here is Reagan's window during the day of ice.
The kids got a care package from Aunt Jennie of color your own kleenex boxes as a get well soon for their colds. Corbin thought they were more fun to use as blocks.
Then he had to move some pots and pans out of the cabinet to make room for his new toys.
Where's Corbin?
Corbin discovered an end table that he could climb in and never had before. Turns out he's a little too tall for this one. :) The highlight of the first snow day was tucking Corbin in without a fever. It was fabulous to know that he was finally better and that we already had the call for the next day off school.
The big snowfall never did come and I'll be honest, I was disappointed! After being trapped in the house for so many days from being sick and now the weather, it would've been nice to have a good reason. Although the cold, cold, cold weather was pretty good reason enough. So we spent another day keeping busy inside.
Note to self: finger paint does not taste good.
Our little Picasso in training. I love the smudge on his nose. :)
