Big Girl Stella

I posted a little while ago about how Stella was about done. It was bad, there was no way to get her clean enough because of the magnets and the beans inside of her. I took a chance and we got the toddler version of Stella and said a few prayers that Reagan would buy my story. Stella went missing for a few hours and then we looked for her together. Meanwhile I put the orginal Stella clothes on the new Stella. Big girl Stella comes with big girl undies but I wasn't going to push that just yet. I put the diaper and jumper on her to make it more convincing.

We found her and then I told Reagan how much Stella has grown and her hair has gotten so long that I put her hair in pigtails just like hers. Reagan said that we had washed her clothes which was true and that Stella had a new binkie which was also true. Otherwise that was it! She has accepted Stella just like before.

We made brownies later and for the first time she got to lick the spoon.

She made Hawkeye sit down for circle time and she read him a story. Like a great little teacher, she held the book out so he could see the pictures as she read to him. Then she gave him a sticker for having "good listening ears."
