Baby Liam

As most of you know, on June 1st Dawn and Blake became parents. Liam Blake Kuppersmith was born happy and healthy and is by far our cutest nephew ever! ;) Last Friday morning we left early, I mean early, like 4 in the morning and flew down to Atlanta, GA to meet the cutie. Here are just a few pictures of the handsome little guy.

We finally got our hands on him! Can you tell how excited Luke was??

Like I said, it was an early day for us so Luke had to snuggle up for a nap. I'm not sure I've ever seen a prouder uncle. I was so good, I let him hold Liam first although there were definetly times we were compromising to see who got to hold him. Luke's favorite story was that he was holding Liam and he was fast asleep. I took him and he started crying. I couldn't get him to calm down so Luke took him back and he immediately went back to sleep. He'll learn soon, its Aunt Tori who buys the gifts.

It really was a wonderful visit. Dawn and Blake are incredible and natural parents, as we knew they would be. However, we had never left Reagan so far away before and those three days/two nights were very, very hard for me. It doesn't help that I have huge anxiety about flying in general, which is ironic considering Luke's job. My parents were fantastic about sending me pictures and videos constantly on my phone to let me know what was going on. Of course she was having a great time and getting spoiled rotten. :) Reagan would talk to me on the phone too but it was so hard to not be the one to tuck her in at night. I spent most of the first day tearing up at every little thing. We ran to Costco and just the sight of blueberries, asparagus and a giant box of fruit snacks almost pushed me over the edge! By the time the second night came around, I was sobbing on the phone to my mom making sure she was okay! When she met us at the airport and ran into my arms, the world was okay again. It was kinda nice that she wouldn't go to anyone else for the rest of the night, she only wanted Mommy.
