This weekend my school hosted a district wide kickball tournament as a fundraiser for Relay for Life. It is a lot of organizing and a very long day but it is worth it and we raise thousands of dollars for a great cause. More importantly, our entire elementary section of our district comes together throughout the day.

Trust me, this was the cleanest phrase submitted and I'm amazed we got it cleared!
One of our teachers came up with a dance/cheer called the Snapper Stomp that we played each time our team played. The week before we practiced with our students so we had them come onto the field to dance with us. We were the coolest team of course. ;)
I felt very loved! Both sets of our parents plus Luke and the kids came to cheer me on.

Another shot of me playing hard. I would've picked some dandelions but it was astroturf. In the end, our team came in second in the tournament. Last year's champions (and my old school!) took home the trophy again but we all had a lot of fun!
This was a great event and I had fun cheering on all of the schools!! Way to go Goshen Gators :)
