Our amazing neighbors host an egg hunt each year for Easter. We missed it last year but were ready to go this year despite the rain and mud.
Off for his first real egg hunt!
Each egg hunt raises money for a local charity. One year we brought dog or cat food for the humane society, another year we brought food for the local pantry. This year we collected money for Cookies for Kids with Cancer. Keep that in mind because you'll see that again on here. Our neighborhood has made this charity our project for the summer and we're very excited to help raise money for this great cause.
Enjoying a donut hole before the hunt.
The hunt fell right on Reagan's birthday so our neighbor held her up and everyone sang to her. She didn't freak out or anything and loved it. It made Luke and I realize how much she's grown over the year and of course.....I got choked up.
Princess Reagan with her lady in waiting holding an umbrella for her. Kate is one of our babysitters. Kate is younger so she's around for when I have something going on close to home or we have a meeting at the house and I need someone to entertain the kids. She is fabulous!
Corbin opened up each egg that he picked up, pulled out the candy and then launched the egg as far as he could across the yard.
Poor Daddy got soaked!!!
Helping Corbin out a little bit.
Checking out their loot. Thank you Erber family for being amazing and generous people!!
