Walk Now For Autism Speaks

Saturday we joined in the Walk Now For Autism Speaks and had a great morning! This was our third time walking but my first time as a team captain. We had a very small team this year but I was thrilled on the amount of money we raised. More on that later. :)

All ready to go! Corbin wasn't feeling entirely better but the doctor said cool air was what he needed and said to get him outside so we did. The only problem with that was it turned out to be almost 90 that day!

The walk has tons of activities and yummy food. The kids enjoyed the bubble bus, bounce houses and seeing the Clydesdales to start with.

Here is our little team that did an awesome job and raised just under $800 with two pledges for more. All of this money will go directly to newly diagnosed families in the form of survival kits, therapy and mentor families. Every 20 minutes another child is diagnosed with some form of spectrum disorder. This is a great cause and it was fantastic to provide our support!
