Corbin has been doing great! We jinxed ourselves by saying how healthy he's been since he got his tubes inserted. So, last week he was a mess and we found out just how gross those tubes can get when they drain from an infection. He quit his drops for it on Monday and today, he woke up coughing in a very distinct way. So I took off work and made the appointment. I was right, he has croup, which is extremely common and not serious at all but also not very fun. It takes a lot to get Corbin down so here is our morning in pictures...
First we emptied the magazine basket and tore a couple of pages off for fun.
Then we ran through the house calling for "DaDa" which I tried to correct with "Mama" and he responded with "Reagan!" Sigh.
Then we rammed our truck into the banister rails repeatedly before driving his trains all over the coffee table.
For his next trick, he dumped his full bowl of cereal upside down and kicked it around. Hawkeye jumped in and helped clean up this evidence.
For a finale, we emptied out the DVDs right before heading to the doctor.
Now it's nap time and he might finally be slowing down. He's coughing a lot more and doesn't want to drink anything. This is his new way of sleeping. He likes to take his pants off and throw a blanket over his head. Safe, don't you think? Those of you that know us well know what a pet peeve running around in just a diaper is to us both. So we're thrilled that he chose this for a new habit. :)
I see Scout there in the background of the napping picture. We have his female counterpart, Violet, and Amy loves it! The lullabies put her to sleep every day and night. Such a neat toy.
