Sneaking up FAST!

Despite heading out for Black Friday sales....I was NOT prepared for Christmas this year. Things have been so busy at the Siron house.

We did manage to write a letter to Santa. Reagan asked Santa for a LalaLoopsy doll with silly hair to style.

Daddy went to his annual Beta Christmas Party and Corbin REALLY wanted to go too. Here Daddy is explaining how many years he has to wait until he'll take him along.

Ruby was a tricky little elf this year.

He even got sick and then got stuck on the top of the tree. Poor thing couldn't move for a few days. (Whoops! I mean it, we were BUSY!) Luckily, I googled Santa's cell phone number and called him for special permission to move Ruby myself.

So. I got this frame years ago. See the little hooks? You can hang little glass ornaments in it. Well after a couple of years, two of my ornaments broke and I quit even taking it out of the box when it was time to decorate. After enough years of this, I just threw it, box and all into the Goodwill pile. Off it went and I never thought another thing about it. About three weeks later, I showed up to work to a lovely present on my desk to me but from no one. I opened and didn't even recognize the frame for about half the day. I was so confused, trying to figure out how someone at work had this picture of me and Luke from before we were even married. Turns out, we had been smiling at all the shoppers at Goodwill for weeks and my secretary recognized us, bought the frame and returned it to me. Lesson learned: remove your picture before you donate! ;) Bright side: I posted this on Facebook because seriously, too funny right? One of my friends has the same frame, all the ornaments but one of her hooks is broken. The frame is now in a loving home, once again displaying ornaments. Gotta love living in a small town!

  1. What a funny story! I will always remember to remove my photos from donated frames :)
