Happy 4th of July!!
This year we stayed home in Edwardsville- shocking right? We celebrated our freedom with our very good friends and neighbors the Erbers with a cookout at their house.
Then Jeff took the kids on a tractor ride through the neighborhood.
Edwardsville puts their fireworks off on the Saturday closest to the 4th so this year we drove to nearby Troy for their show. It was a great spot!

Thanks for the white shirt Grandma! Ketchup, mud, chocolate and eventually some of the glowing ooze from a glow stick. ;) This is the same girl who refused to get her hands dirty in the last post?

Corbin was not scared persay but he sure had a deathgrip on me throughout the show.
Looks like a great way to spend the holiday! I bet it was nice to be close to the house this year, but you are right just a little shocking ;)
