Our little princess will be four in just a very short week. I can hardly believe it. With next weekend being Easter, we celebrated her birthday with her friends this weekend with a tea party just for the girls.
I made the invitations and I thought they came out pretty cute. We encouraged everyone to dress up as we all know what a love Miss Reagan has for fancy dresses. :)
We started out the party with a quick craft of decorating our tea cups with foam stickers and stick on jewels.
After that we moved to the kitchen to decorate our tea pot cookies.
Hard at work with icing, sprinkles and jelly beans.
We let these dry during the party and the girls took them home as a part of their favor bags.
Next we made princess fairy wands. Every little girl needs several of these!
Reagan made her wand to match her Tinkerbelle dress.
After our wands we made bracelets with lots of fun beads!
Then it was time for Tea, or apple juice. Whatever works right? ;) We also served Reagan's favorite snack of bell peppers, fruit salad and of course pink and purple cupcakes.
I, in true fashion, choked up while they sang her Happy Birthday. 4??? I mean really....4????!?!
All of the beauties!
After we ate and opened presents, the girls all played together in Reagan's room while the moms chatted. Here are some of them crammed into Reagan's princess castle. :)
Laura and Reagan helped out Mia by doing her hair for her.
Later, we surveyed the damage. It spilled over into Corbin's room!
My, oh my! This is why I love my bin system for their rooms. Less than 10 minutes later, everything was right back in it's place. Whew!
I would say the party was a success. It was my first hosting it at our house and I was certainly nervous! I wanted to make sure everyone was happy and having fun and most importantly, not bored! Thanks to my fantastic Birthday Swat Team of both grandmas and Aunt Jennie, it was smooth and organized and turned out great! Thank you, thank you, thank you three!!!
I can't believe they are turning 4!!! What a fun birthday party!! We headed to Build-a-Bear this year, as Liv's bday fell right on Easter!
