Corbin fell and scraped his knee this morning. The first of many, many scrapes I expect this summer. (Okay, let's be honest, I'm just hoping for no ER visits for this kid this summer.) But Big Sister was right there to the rescue. She ran and grabbed a band-aid and told him how to take care of his owie.
She was nice enough to let me wipe it up first.
Getting the lecture from his nurse. "Now Bubby, don't pick at it because it needs to heal okay?" "In a little while, we'll take it off so it can have air and heal, okay?"
All better! He really could've cared less that he fell and didn't even notice he was BARELY bleeding. So the trick was getting him to sit still long enough for Reagan to play nurse for him. But he ended up humoring her. :)

ReplyDeleteIt's a cute easter treat and when I saw it I thought of you and how you always have the kids in the kitchen making treats. I made some today and it took like 10 minutes and is seriously addictive. Might be a cute thing to leave for the Easter Bunny this weekend.
