The kids and I have been on Spring Break the past week and have loved it! We've had just the right amount of downtime and activities to enjoy and relax. We started off with a playdate with the Althage boys.
Reagan was really only interested in taking care of Baby Carter and insisted that he needed his binkie all the time. Even though Carter really didn't agree. But she did get him to stop fussing by singing him the ABCs. :)
She was pretty upset that the boys weren't helping her build her puzzle. She really wanted to be their teacher.
They on the other hand had other plans. We're just waiting for Corbin to start walking up those little hang over stair ends. He's been seriously considering it for a couple days now. Sigh.
The highlight was this jumping game they came up with using their time out stools. Hey, it kept them busy for a LONG time!
We also had some of the wonderful Midwest April weather! Nothing too horrible but it seems like not too far away got hit pretty bad.
I also enjoyed a night out with my dear friend Courtney for our Mommy night out of sushi and wine. We really need to do this more often or not considering, Court left the table for like 2 minutes and I ordered wrong. So wrong!
I misunderstood the waiter and we ended up with an ocean liner of food for the two of us. Whoops!! Oh well, we both got lunch for the next day too!
We also made ourselves be adventurous and we just picked something and didn't look to see what it was. Somehow we ended up with a quail egg on a roll of fish rowe. We both ate and washed it down with some wine. Yum!!! (Not going to order that one again!)
