While everyone was here, Luke and his sisters ran in the Go! St. Louis half marathon. That means they ran 13.1 miles with tens of thousands of other people. Some of those thousands did a relay where they all ran parts of it so combined they ran the marathon and others ran a full marathon. They all did just amazing and we were there to cheer them on. I still get so inspired when I watch it that I want to do it too. Inevitably that inspiration disappears when it's time to actually run to train for one. Someday!
Of course we stopped to get Starbucks on the way. Reagan loves getting a milk in a cup so that she looks just like me. :)

At this point, Corbin fell asleep and didn't wake up for the rest of the race. He was one tired guy.

As a comparison to last year's race, the weather was much more friendly to the runners as last year's was a steady downpour of rain. Also, Luke ended up losing one toe nail last year and he raised that to losing two this year. They're not gone yet but it will be very unlikely if they stay! These things are gross (along with the frightening blood blisters on his feet) but they show his determination to finish and to train. He is so dedicated, getting up at 4:00 on the morning to run and then training with long runs on the weekends. We are so proud of him!! Congratulations Everyone!!
