So after agonizing over whether or not to go for it and get Reagan's hair cut for the first time, I went and made her an appointment and we went tonight for her first cut. Her hair has grown in crazy and in all different directions and lengths. Luke had no opinion, no matter how many questions I asked him. In the end I just wanted it closer to being even and didn't want bangs. She was very excited and all set!

She was all about the booster seat and then chickened out, not that I can blame her! Here we go!
As soon as the first spray from the water bottle hit her, the screaming started. I do mean screaming, little girl shrill screaming. She HATES having her hair wetted down with a spray bottle. I used to do it all the time to put her hair in ponytails but one day it became torture. The stylist was VERY patient and we got through it.
All done getting her hair sprayed, life is okay again!
All done! She thought it was pretty neat that her hair was on the floor. She made sure to tell another stylist about that. :) 
Later tonight while I was baking, she had to bake also. You can kinda see that now that her hair is shorter, her curls are way more prominent.
I love her haircut! She looks absolutely adorable. I didn't realize it was sometimes so long before the little one could possibly get her first haircut!

ReplyDeleteSo Sweet!!! I love it! Daddies dont get it...I took around 30 pics of Jacks first haircut at nice months, and I can say that Randy was "less than pleased". I am totally afraid to cut Liv's, i think we will loose the curls on the ends:(
