Off to the Zoo!

We took advantage of the nice weather to get some time in at the zoo. Reagan absolutely loved the zebras but truly did not like the camels and I couldn't blame her, we all agreed they weren't looking too pretty. Nikki and Lucas came too and we had a great time introducing Lucas to the animals and at least the smells of the zoo. :)

Right off the bat, Reagan and I got up close and personal with the penguins. While we were watching them swim and dive, one splashed us both big time. Obviously, Reagan was not pleased. I, on the other hand, thought it was hilarious!

Watching the ostrich and giraffes. Reagan wasn't too sure about the ostrich, it was kinda scary!

Of course Stell had to have her turn in the stoller to look at the "nimals."



Life does not get any better than the amazing and fantastic carousel. Always a great way to end a zoo trip. :)

Now I am going to brag about my genius child. Feel free to move on if you wish. :)

After the zoo we went shopping and didn't get home for about three hours after the zoo trip. I of course decided to quiz her on the trip so she could tell Luke all about it. She answered EVERYTHING right. I coudn't believe it.

What was your favoite animal at the zoo today? "monkey sleeping" Okay, the FIRST animal we saw was the oranguatan sleeping so we moved on. We didn't talk about it again at all. She totally remembered so I dug deeper and asked what color blanket he had. "Pink" Right!

How many bears were there? "2" What color were they? "Back" (Black!)

What did the penguins do? "penguin splash"

What did you ride on the carousel? "purple" the donkey had a purple saddle.

I realize that I am a proud mom just like every other mom out there. So you can roll your eyes all you want but you actually stuck around to read this far. :)
