Years ago, Luke started Deer and Beer as a brotherhood event for the Betas. Luke loves hunting and its a great way to use the meat and get together with old friends. Now that we hold it at our house, the girls get to come too. ;) Chicken and wine are always served too but this year even I had a deer burger! It was actually pretty good. We always have tons of food, tons of beer and lots of fun catching up with friends. We've expanded to more than just Betas and look forward to it every year. I think this year we might even do a summer edition and get even more of the meat out of my freezer!

This year, Reagan had a playmate. It was so nice to be able to let Laura and Reagan loose in her room to play while we hung out. I love this age! It was actually the year with the most kiddos in attendance, Baby Mia made her debut appearance and she did great!

"Aunt JuJu" read the girls a bedtime story. Reagan loves her some Aunt JuJu!
Hawkeye and his best buddy Rick. Rick and Kate used to dogsit for Hawkeye and there is a lot of love there!
Vito showed up and surprised us all!! He got into the spirit of the night.
Me, Julie and Trisha were missing our girls! Kate was in Philly, Ellen and Ellen couldn't make it, Gina was busy, and Nikki was having a baby!
Ray and Julie were awesome helpers like always. There are no better sous chefs around! They joked they were coming as Deer and Beer and they were true to their word. LOVE you guys!!
