Reagan spent a wonderful weekend with Oma in Chicago. They took the train up to Chicago with some friends to see Mary Poppins the play.
This was a weekend of firsts! Reagan's first train ride, first play and first trip without Mommy and Daddy. (We survived!)
Waiting at the train station.
On the train with her new friend Jordan
Seeing the big buildings! Hopefully she's not freaked out by big cities like her Mommy!
Thank you Oma and friends from shielding her from the "sights" that the city can provide!!!
OF COURSE, they ran into a fire truck. There were lots of them as they were doing a fire drill at one of the big buildings.
Peek-a-boo!
They ate lunch at a Rainforest Cafe. Thanks for heading off those scary costumed people!!
(Our little girl never has liked puppets or people dressed up in furry costumes.) She did love all of the moving statues that decorate the restaurant and told us all about them!
The whole group!
This was super exciting for Reagan because she LOVES Mary Poppins. I mean LOVES it. We watched it constantly this summer and she can probably recite the whole movie along with the DVD. It ranks right up there with White Christmas in her world!
On the way home! Thank you Oma for creating memories!!
