Homework!

The kids frequently have homework and I love that! Tonight they both had homework. So we sat down and got to work. Corbin's class is learning their colors and his assignment was to create a collage using the colors of the rainbow. We raided the junk art box and started gluing. This is where big sisters come in handy!

I look stressed because I really wanted a picture of him holding it and he really just wanted to rip it up!

So I was caught completely in between teacher and parent. God grant me patience!! Reagan's class is learning about families and her assignment was to put a picture of her family on the page and write the names of all of us and the number of people in her family. I, of course had the perfect vision of what it should look like; neatly colored, with pretty colors that actually coordinate. I wanted to do a hand over hand so you would actually be able to read the names..... Don't worry, it was hard (VERY, VERY HARD) but I stopped myself and let her do it on her own. 

And this right here is why. She was so very proud of her work! She did a fantastic job!
