This past weekend while we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa and Luke was hunting Corbin had his first visit to the ER. HE IS COMPLETELY FINE! :) Saturday afternoon we noticed his eye was a little gunky (yes, that is a technical term) and after I cleaned it out and it kept getting worse, I knew he had pink eye. I called our pediatrician's exchange expecting them to call in a prescription like they would for Reagan but because of his age, he had to be seen "within 4 hours" so around 9:00 we headed off to the hospital. Poor Luke felt horrible being out of town but really it was nothing dramatic at all so we decided for him to stay in Jacksonville. My dad went with me and he got to enjoy the fun company of the late Saturday night crowd of the ER waiting room. I was right and it's just pink eye. Of course it is now in both eyes and our little guy is very uncomfortable. He'll be staying home from school tomorrow for sure with Luke as I have parent teacher conferences and really can't miss work. I did snap a picture on my phone of his first visit. He was a champ through all the waiting!
