Each year, our group of college friends get together for Thanksgiving. This year we celebrated at Kate and Rick's new house. They moved in a couple weeks ago and still hosted! Go Kate! The night always involves quite a bit of wine for the girls and scotch for the guys and goes pretty late. This year, we packed the kids up and they spent the night with Oma and Papa. THANK YOU!!! It was so nice to be able to bake without the extra "help" and even better, we got to sleep in the next morning!

Eating dinner, Kate did a fantastic job of decorating. So glad they will continue the tradition each year!
Another AWESOME tradition! The guys all huddled up to get a game plan made for clean up. They gave themselves a time limit of 15 minutes. Then we heard a time extension of 3 more minutes, then another for 5 more.... Regardless, it was all done and us ladies enjoyed wine and gossip while they did the dirty work. We're pretty sure it's their peace offering for the antics that come with scotch and cigars.
