Celebrating Luke and Christine!

We traveled to Joliet this weekend to attend Luke's cousin's wedding. It was a weekend of firsts for Reagan as she has never been to a wedding or stayed in a hotel before. All in all she was a very excited girl. It was a beautiful day and you can't help but have a great time when the couple is so excited and so happy! The Sirons were in great attendance with the count at 37 I think. It was nice to see everyone and catch up as we partied!

Sitting quietly during the ceremony. I was as prepared as possible. Reagan goes to the nursery at church so she is not used to sitting quietly. She did fabulous! She got a little restless when she saw Luke and wasn't able to go to him. I quickly broke out the fruit snacks and by the time they were gone, we were cheering the first kiss. Whew!

So Reagan is apparently quite the life of the party. She was a dancing queen all night long. From the moment the chairs were cleared for the dance floor it was a fight to keep her off of it. Once the floor was open, she was there all night and making all kinds of friends. For instance, there are about ten pictures of Reagan dancing with this girl on my camera. I have no idea who this is and don't even remember her at the wedding but Reagan must have had a great time dancing with her!

Luke and I were not allowed to dance together. She had to join in and of course we didn't mind at all.

Me and my little man.

Sleeping on Daddy.
Shaking those hips. Our little girl has some moves! She even joined in the congo line through the room, on her own. Luke and I didn't see it and we didn't get a picture. Luckily Luke's dad noticed her out there dancing along and went and retrieved her for us.

Dancing with Melissa and Lila.
She and her cousin Lila were dance partners all night.
Dancing with "Princess Christine." Luke and Christine got married at a beautiful mansion. During one of many walks outside to keep Reagan occupied, she exclaimed "This is a BIG castle!" Her daddy told her of course, because princesses always get married at castles. I asked Reagan if she was going to get married at a castle when she was old enough. When she said yes, I told her to tell her Daddy to start saving. She stopped walking, turned around to look at Luke and said "Start saving Daddy!"

Dancing with Daddy!

Luke and Christine's first dance, complete with the tradition of the Siron men blowing bubbles.

Daddy's girl
Cheese!
Corbin and Liam in their sweater vests! Looking quite a bit like little old men. :)

Hamming it up for the camera.

Getting tucked into bed after a long night of dancing. She was awake from all the excitement so we brought the DVD player in the from the car and hooked it up so she could fall asleep to Dora. She loved having that big bed to sleep in!

After sleeping in everyone's arms all night, Corbin still did great and slept on his usual schedule at the hotel. Yippee!
