Kenny Chesney!

Luke's parents got me Kenny Chesney tickets for my birthday. We were playing it by ear because the concert was 2 weeks after Corbin's due date. But honestly, if anyone could get me to leave Corbin and Reagan that early, Kenny can!

The concert was in Bloomington on a Thursday night. Luke took off work early and we dropped off the kids at my parents house and went to the concert with Luke's parents. It was the biggest act that the Coliseum has hosted in Bloomington and it was neat to see our town all transformed with streets blocked off to accommodate all of the buses and semis and a tailgate party. Tickets sold out in 3 minutes!

Before the concert!
The camera didn't do a great job in the arena but we had amazing seats! The pictures make it look like we were farther away but we were able to see everything. When Kenny came on, security began wheeling a sound equipment trunk to the back of the arena, of course my rocket scientist husband kept saying that Kenny was in the trunk and I kept telling him he was crazy. Of course, he was right. The several police officers and other security people that kept surrounding the trunk should've been a tip off to me. Anyhow, he did come out of the trunk and was on a flying cable through the crowd. It was a wonderful kick off and he always puts on a great show. I guess I should mention that the Zac Brown Band and Miranda Lambert were there too. They were okay. ;) It was a great night and we enjoyed being kid free for a few hours. Afterwards we packed up Corbin and drove back down here, somehow without falling asleep. Reagan stayed the night with Grandma and Grandpa. THANK YOU!!!
