Last weekend the kids went to Normal for the night while we had a special birthday party to go to for one of our best friends. The plan was for us to meet them bright and early and join them in the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure. However, a couple weeks before that I sprained my ankle badly and was still wearing the ankle brace at the time of the walk. So we opted to sleep in... but we're so proud of our family and kids!
