Tennessee Weekend

This past weekend we met the Sirons in Tennessee at a wonderful rental house for a long weekend. It was a lot of fun and we were so happy to see everyone without having to wait months and months again! Looking through the pictures, it is obvious that we revolve around the kids. I have no pictures of adults....unless they happened to near a child!

We had some pretty rainy weather so we hung around the house and just enjoyed visiting each other.

Cheese!

We got lots of Liam cuddles! Already missing them though.

Always a daddy's boy!! Corbin was sick for a little bit during our trip. Shocking right? He made a quick recovery and still had a lot of fun.

Possibly Oma's favorite moment of the trip?
We made popcorn with the whirleypop for an afternoon snack. Always a big hit! Thanks for vacuuming afterwards Papa!

Monkey see, Monkey do. :)
Reagan and Liam were sharing the chair to watch TV and Corbin just couldn't be left out.

Laura had to leave early to begin preparing for her next trip to Cambodia. Our last night there, we ordered pizza and somehow managed to set a place for Laura, complete with her water bottle. What is really funny is that we noticed that we did it AFTER we were done eating. She was there with us in spirit!

Poor Papa!!

All sitting so nicely. :)

Getting into trouble together. The ceiling really wasn't friendly for jumping on the bed but oh well!

Reagan reading to Liam.

Again, not to be left out, Corbin joined the party. :)

We were spoiled and given the whole top floor for just our family. This included two twin beds in a loft area, our own bathroom and a separate bedroom. Corbin wasn't having it. We ended up driving into K-Mart for underwear for Reagan (really, of everything for me to forget? and to find out I forgot it at 2:00 in the morning? long story but funny...now that it's not 2:00 in the morning!) and also for a gate to block Corbin into a confined space. He is of course used to sleeping in a bed but not with other people in the room. So even with the extra beds, both kids slept in their sleeping bags on the floor. Reagan insisted on doing this because it was vacation so that's what you do of course! This picture was taken on the morning we left. Unfortunately, this picture was taken around 5:00 in the morning. Corbin got up at 4:00 which of course got Reagan up and despite all 4 of us climbing in bed and giving it a great attempt, sleep did not occur after that. We didn't want to wake anyone else up so we hung out and played the four of us upstairs. It was actually pretty nice. :)
