6 months old

We took Corbin for his 6 month check up but ended up with a sick visit instead. He has another double ear infection and caught a nasty stomach bug on top of that. The stomach bug has been going around so we weren't too surprised or worried about it. We spent a lot of his appointment talking about his ears and the fact that he's had quite a few infections for such a little guy. We have an appointment at Children's Hospital in St. Louis with an ENT on April 15th to discuss his need for tubes. We'll see what happens, in the meantime, we're onto another new antibiotic to try and get him well! As far as the stomach bug, he ended up with a couple days off school and he'll be laying low all weekend to get all the way better. I am hoping we are at the end of it and am so thankful for pedialyte as we weren't getting any wet diapers. Who would've though I'd be so excited and thrilled to change diapers? :)

Here he is with the person he admires most! He just lights up when she comes in the room and is always reaching and trying to get to her. Have I mentioned how patient she is with him?

Here he is with his other favorite buddy in the world. Hawkeye is also very patient with Corbin-hence the giant pulling of his ear!

Eating his first veggie! He loves carrots and tolerates peas.

We'll go back to the doctor in a couple weeks to recheck his ears and to get his shots that he wasn't able to get. Also, we didn't get his height in the midst of the appointment. We had a lot talk about! However we do know that he is a solid 18.5 lbs! What can we say, we grow em big! :)
