Reagan is quite the princess. Quite the princess indeed!
The past two months have been lots of fun with her. Her vocabulary just blows people away and you never know what is going to come out of her mouth. For instance, while we were at home over Christmas, we were in line behind a woman in a floor length fur coat with a matching fur hat. I knew immediately, Reagan would have a comment and her face showed her gears turning in her head. I tried to shush her ahead of it but of course "Mommy, she's dressed like a monkey!" came out nice and loud. UGH!
Other Reagan-isms:
When watching the tap dancing during the opening ceremonies, Reagan begged both Luke and me to help her dance like that. Right.....
When talking about a dog that has passed on, we said that she lives with Jesus now. Reagan said "But Mommy, Jesus lives in my heart." Yes.... "I have a dog in my heart?? Mommy I've never had a doggie in my heart before!"
Don't you just love how I have captured her mischievous little grin? She is such a stinker sometimes and so sweet all of the other times. I'm sure you've noticed that she is in a princess dress CONSTANTLY! Our fabulous neighbor's daughter has decided she is too old for dress up and passed on a bag full of dresses, purses, wands and all the necessary dress up trunk accessories. Reagan was thrilled to have a whole new wardrobe!
Here she is practicing her Smartcyle. She rides the bike and catches letters/colors/shapes etc. She likes it but for some reason keeps pedaling backwards even though she flies on her real tricycle.
As far as an update, Reagan is growing every day. We couldn't ask for her to be a better big sister. She is so patient and sweet with Corbin. If he's crying in the car, she sings to him. If he's yanking on her hair, she just gently moves his hand and holds it without telling him no. She keeps "teaching him how to play with his toys" and loves to feed him. She also reads him his bedtime stories at night. Potty training is going well and no one is cooler than Dora. She is doing great at school and loves to pretend to be her pediatrician. So I think she's right on track for a normal little almost three year old diva!
