Just another weekend!

We had a fantastic and fun weekend! Friday night was our neighborhood movie night. Our fabulous neighbors projected Hotel For Dogs up onto a big sheet on their house and the whole neighborhood sits out with snacks and enjoys the night. We had some perfect weather and Reagan really enjoyed it. The picture of the two of us is not the best but it was blinding me each time it flashed and this was the only one we could get with my eyes somewhat open! She was eating dirt pudding that she helped me make earlier in the day. She was decked out in her light up sandles complete with a glow bracelet on her shirt so I could keep tabs on her the whole night!

Reagan looks like she's watching the movie but she's not. It wasn't even playing yet. She just plopped herself down next to our neighbor's popcorn and didn't move until it was gone. Then she found a popsicle....What a night! :)

This morning Reagan woke up and declared she wanted to wear big girl underwear and a dress. I was still only half awake myself so I checked her out carefully to make sure she really was my daughter. She was! This was her first time ever wearing undies as we're not really serious about potty training until after school is out. They lasted about 20 minutes but the dress lasted all day!
Reagan took Baby Stella for a ride up the street. Stella is about done. I absolutely hate to say it. I know there is a Stella Baby who looks like a toddler. I'm thinking about getting it and trying to convince her that Stella has grown into a big girl just like she has. Anyone think that will actually work?

Of course right now everything is "do it self!" for I'll do it myself. She picked out her beautiful blue and white plaid shoes to go with her polka dot dress. She's such a style icon.

A couple summers ago, we extended out our patio with paver stones. Well they didn't set right or something and it needed to be redone. Badly. So Luke and our amazing friends dug it all up this weekend and Luke is in the process of redoing it. Of course he smashed his hand twice with the rubber mallet (and of course, he saw the need to post a picture on facebook.) but so far it looks great. Reagan wanted to help sooo badly but we just couldn't let her.

So instead she settled for working on her playset.

We blew up Mommy's favorite purchase from last Fall. $5 for this pool! I was really excited because now I won't feel bad at all when I don't want to clean it and fold it up for next year.

This was a huge smile but that silly sun was in her eyes.

She had a blast. I think we'll spend quite a bit of time splashing around this summer.
