What a week!

So we've been out of it for the past week. Poor Reagan has been fighting a cold. We called the doctor last Tuesday to see if I could give her anything at all over the counter. I know she's not 2 yet but she's almost 32 pounds, so I thought she'd be fine. They said No, and I'm not one to break the rules... :) We gave it a few more days and then Luke took her in on Friday afternoon to get her checked out. They agreed something was going on. They left it that if she wasn't better then we could call and get antibiotics on Saturday morning or bring her back on Monday. She finally slept all Friday night and Saturday morning she was running full steam again. We thought we were finally on our way back to normal.

So my FANTASTIC and AMAZING parents drove down to spoil her for the day since both my sitters were busy. Luke and I took off for St. Louis to throw a couples baby shower and I left my camera there. Hence, no pictures... :( Around 5:30 my parents called and said that Reagan had a 102 fever and wasn't acting like herself. More specfically, she was sitting still and wanting to cuddle. Not my child. They gave her tylenol and we raced home. If you wanna see Luke freak out, tell him Reagan has a fever. This is only the third real fever she's ever had. So after driving 90 to get home, Reagan's fever had actually gone up to 103. Off to Urgent Care we went. On the way there, we could hear her breathing really heavy. Turns out her little sinus infection had turned into bronchitis within an hour.

Here's the sad part. Because she's only had a prescription twice her whole life, we're used to getting some brown bottle and syringe. This time, they gave her the pink bubble gum Amoxicillin and a spoon. Leave it to me to cry my eyes out because she has big girl medicine now!!
